These are pictures from the beach and Hudson's 2nd birthday. We sometimes go to the beach in the evenings with my parents. It's nice to go in the evening because it is not as hot as it is in the daytime. Will likes to do a little surfing and Poppy likes to do body boarding. Nathan is learning how to body board and Will is planning on teaching Nina to surf, which I am not too thrilled about. Hudson had a great birthday party. We just celebrated his birthday last night because the following weekend the stomach virus was going through our family. So, now that we celebrated Hudson's birthday I now feel he is officially 2. He had a Thomas birthday party. He is all about trains right now. He can't say train so he calls them choo choo's. He was dressed up in his little train engineer outfit, which he looked so adorable in.

Summer Fun!
As you all know summertime in Florida can be brutally hot and humid. It's not too often the kids can go outside in the middle of the day, due to the heat. So, we will be looking for a lot of things to do this summer that will keep us cool. My Mom and I took the kids to Splash Park the other day and the kids had so much fun. And, of course, I brought my camera along. I am the mom with the camera that is always clicking a hundred times a minute. OK, maybe not a hundred times. But, the kids are growing up so fast that I don't want to miss any moments. Well, as you can see in the pictures, the kids had so much fun. Hudson was a little afraid at first to get his feet wet. But, as soon as he saw how much fun Nina and Nathan were having he got into it very quickly. Nathan spent most of the time trying to get the water to stop coming up. What can I say, he is all boy. And Nina, I'm sure you can tell from the pictures spent most of her time playing with Hudson.

Skating pictures and Memorial Day pics
These are pics from a skating party that we went to with Nina and Nathan. It was so much fun. It was the first time Nina and Nathan had been to a skating rink. It brought back a lot of memories from when I was their age. It reminds me of how old I am getting. Will skated with the kids and I did not, out of fear that I would fall. And the other pics are from our Memorial Day picnic that we had in our back yard with neighbors and family. We had a blast. We did old fashioned games like: potato sack races, balloon toss, wheelbarrow races, and a fun shave the dad's faces game. And we had some good competitive volleyball games going on. We are very fortunate to have great neighbors that are now life-long friends.

These are photos from our Disney trip that we went to a few months ago with some good friends. We had so much fun. This year we had purchased season passes and it has been so nice to be able to take a trip every now and then down to Disney. I don't ever get bored going. And,of course,it's where all your dreams come true.

I have only used this blog site once and it's about time for me to do some updating. I have added some of our favorite songs for you to listen to while you are checking out our site. We have been so busy lately. I cannot wait for our school year to end. I think we are all getting a little burnt out. Nina's dance recital is coming up in the middle of June. We get so excited to watch her because she improves so much each year. She also recently got baptized. It was a very emotional experience watching her follow in obedience to the Lord. Nathan is doing great and recently earned his green stripe on his yellow belt for Tae Kwon Do. He is on his way to his green belt. This past Monday he might have fractured a bone in his arm, however, the x-ray did not show that there was one. Anyway, he is in a temporary splint. But, this past Tuesday in his class he was starting to be trained to work with kids that have a lower belt then him. This was such a big boost in his confidence. Hudson is doing great and getting into much mischief. He is such a joy and makes us laugh all the time. He is such a stinker. I will be adding pictures soon.

Hudson is our youngest and is such a character. He makes us laugh all the time. He is starting to talk up a storm and is getting into everything. He will be 21 months in a couple of weeks. I can't believe how he has grown so fast. I think since he is our third and last child it seems he has grown the quickest. It is very sad. But it is fun watching him grow up and discover new things each day. He loves his big sis so much. If Mommy can't give him the attention he wants at the moment he quickly goes to Nina, who is usually there to give him the attention. He loves going into her room and dancing with her when she has her music on. Nina also usually changes diapers too, as long as they are not dirty ones. She is a big help. Nathan and Hudson usually get along. I can sometimes find Hudson on the floor next to Nathan in Nathan's room with the video game controller in his hand. He thinks he is playing the game too. It is so cute to see them next to each other. Sometimes Nathan knows how to aggravate Hudson and Hudson will let him know if he is getting to him. But they are brothers and I know that's not the only teasing I will see, there will be a lot more in the future. Having two children was great but Hudson surely completed our family when he arrived and we love him so much.

Nathan is the clown in our family. He is always making us laugh. He will be turning 7 this month. He is such a loving boy and is always there to give Mom and Dad a hug. He started taking Tae Kwon Do this past October and has recently earned his yellow belt. We are very proud of him because he takes it so seriously and he always strives to do his best in his classes. He also recently took up BMX racing and had his first race a couple of Fridays ago and won. I think that has been the highlight of his year so far. You should have seen his face when his first trophy was handed to him. I think he slept with it his first night. Nathan also loves the Lord and always looks forward to going to Sunday School and going to Awana. Nathan's favorite things to do are BMX racing, Tae Kwon Do, playing video games, hanging out with his friend Keegan, and just hanging out in his room.

Nina Grace is our sweet 9 year old girl. She is such a help to me and always helps out with her youngest brother Hudson. She has been taking dance since she was 3 years old and each year she just keeps getting better and better. She cannot wait till she can take pointe. She no longer is a little girl and she is changing so much as she keeps getting older. She is your typical 9 year old. She loves listening to music in her room, reading, clothes, talking on the phone with her friends, and watching her favorite shows (Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, I Love Lucy, and Hannah Montana). She loves the Lord very much and has recently made the decision to get baptized. It is so awesome to watch your children grow in the Lord and seek to do His will. We are very proud of her.
